Jose, a chess software. In my opinion, this is the best chess software that I use on my computer. Created using JAVA programming language, so it can run in any OS that has Java Runtime Environment installed.

Another excellent feature on Jose, you can install other chess engines as plug-in. Jose is packaged with the Toga and Spike chess engines. However, there is a huge number of freely available-and commercial-engines that also can be used with jose.
